Emma Fisler – August 2025 Athlete of the Month
Emma Fisler, 17, of Foxboro, has been training at Elite Sports Performance & Physical Therapy in Foxboro for the past 4 years. Emma attends Foxboro High School, where she plays softball and runs cross country. Emma has been playing outfield for Foxboro High School Varsity since 8th grade and is a captain of her high school’s cross country team.
Emma came to Elite looking to learn how to properly lift weights and improve her athletic performance. She hoped to increase leg and core strength to improve her hitting and her speed. She continues to train hard at Elite because “the staff is very supportive and easy to talk to.” She noted that now she “hits the ball further, throws harder and faster, and runs faster” since she began training at Elite. She continues to set goals for herself and is working hard to improve her dumbbell bench press and trap bar deadlift.
Emma is not only a softball and cross country athlete, but she also earned her black belt in karate. When asked about her advice to younger athletes, she recommends that they “stay consistent” with their training. She looks up to the work ethic of two powerful hitters, Jayda Coleman and Bri Ellis. She feels they are examples of “true athletes,” which she defines as someone that is “hard working, dedicated, coachable, willing to change, and has a positive attitude.” Emma explains that her best advice was from a teacher who taught her the word “persevere,” which she has tried to exemplify. She tells us that softball has “shaped my mindset and pushed me to grow both mentally and physically.”
Emma loves training for her sport because she’s “training for a game I love with the people I love.” She continues to train hard with a goal of playing collegiate softball. She loves training at Elite because of the “staff and community that I have built since starting here.” She feels that the Elite coaching staff “have always had my well-being in their best interest.” She would recommend Elite to friends and teammates because “they always push you to reach past your limits!”
Emma is a rising senior and we are excited to see what comes next! We’re excited to announce Emma Fisler as our Elite Athlete of the Month for August, 2025! With her determination, work ethic, and commitment to her training, we know she has all the tools for great success in the future, both on and off the field. Keep getting after it and making us proud!
